We spotted her at the Milk + Bookies First Annual Story Time Celebration in Los Angeles event and although her outfit is far from exciting it does have the right polished element to make any busy mom’s day at the playground wardrobe work: a shrunken blazer.
There’s a funny sloppiness that occurs in many a mom’s wardrobe that can easily be solved by adding one polished element to your daily playground uniform. A tailored blazer in a modern cut instantly does the trick.

Now Jennifer is pairing her jacket with bootcut jeans and flats– frankly we think that straight jeans or a higher stacked heel would look better than having the jeans hem drag over cute flats, but we’re keeping the misses to mommy-on-the-go madness.
Stylists that we are, we would love the same jacket with other mommy-friendly fashion basics like well cut, soft khaki pants or fatigues. While we are at it, a big scarf and a fab belt with add more interest and still be a pretty dynamite day at the playground look.
