How to Get Kim Kardashian’s More Natural Makeup Look

Softer, prettier makeup makes for a very stunning & summery Kim Kardashian

Lighten up and look amazing!

Kim Kardashian is gorgeous but we have to admit that her makeup is usually a bit too Hollywood heavy for our New York taste. So when we saw this photo of Kim looking more natural, yet still VERY glamorous, we had to take note!

We reached out to her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic for some clue on how her look was achieved and ways for you to…

"I went for a less dramatic look on Kim for the CEW awards. I love giving her a more natural look like this that accentuates her already beautiful features," Mario explains.

  • To create a more natural look like the one I created for Kim, skip the dark eyeshadows and play up lashes. After evening out the skin tone, add some foundation to the eyelids to brighten them up and even out the lids, then use a black eyeliner to line the upper lids and extend it out a bit.
  • Then smudge a bit of bronzer along the lower lash line for a subtle smokey look, and instead of lining the inner rims with black, use a bronzey golden pencil – it reflects the light a bit and still gives the eyes definition.
  • For the cheeks, apply a peachy cream blush on the apples of cheeks, with your fingers and blend with a sponge, and to add a gorgeous glow to the skin use Eye M Glam highlighter by Giella. Sweep that onto cheek bones and the inner corners of the eyes for a radiant and youthful glow.
  • Finally for the lips, mix a creamy lipstick with gloss and apply it to the lips instead of using a lipliner and lipstick.

The beauty products that celebrity makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic used on Kim Kardashian:

FACE

On her skin I applied Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation blended with a bit of moisturizer

LaMer concealer under her eyes

Shu Uemura loose powder to set

For a subtle glow, I sweep EYE M GLAM highlighter by Giella Cosmetics onto the cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupids bow

Apply Hot Mama blush by The Balm.

EYES

Sweep Giella Eye M Glam highlighter on her lids and on the inner corners of eyes to brighten and open up the eyes, and used a touch right on the brow bone too.

MAC Brow Pencil in Linering to fill brows

Line the top lids with Lancome’s Art Liner extending it out and up past the eye.

Apply Sephora Collection Flashy Liner in Flashy Brown on the inner rim of her eyes and smudged a bit along the lash line too

Finish the look by curling her lashes and applying two coats of Smashbox Hyperlash Mascara in black to both top and bottom lashes.

LIPS

Finally for her lips, I applied JK Jemma Kidd Sheer Vanity Gloss and Glaze in Belle du Jour
