Tracy Reese Spring 2013 Vibrant Color In Strong Yet Feminine Silhouettes

Tracy Reese Spring 2013 Runway Review: A confident urban woman will be pleased to be wearing the colorful new Tracy Reese collection come Spring 2013.

And with First Lady Michelle Obama wearing one of Reese’s dresses at the recent Democratic National Convention, how can one not take additional pride and pleasure in wearing one of her pieces?

The line has punchy colors and is softly draped for a look that stands out strong but remains feminine.

I personally only own Tracy Reese dresses, and there plenty of bright shift dresses to choose from here, but I think after seeing this I will be switching my purchasing to the pants and double lapel jackets for Spring.

The printed ankle length, perfectly draped pants are a must have, along with the yellow pair with clusters of sequins – I have my eyes on those!  A blue cropped moto jacket also had me confirming my future closet additions.

Always a stand-out feature are the handbags, and here again depending on how soft or structured you want your look to be, there are a variety of smaller box and circle clutches, or soft, slouchy shoulder bags with fringe.  All in pop colors that pair perfectly with the colorful collection, or could be worn as the single stand-out item in your monochrome, neutral dressing

The line screams city girl, and being one, it’s everything I want to wear to spend my New York City days. The additional vote of confidence from our First Lady will add pride in your city street steps! — Alix Kivlin
