Erin Fetherston was inspired by the 1992 French film, “L’Amant” (The Lover) that takes place in 1929 French Indochina.

“I wanted to capture an effortless, chic sensibility in an offering with lots of mix and matchability," Fetherston said.

Erin Fetherston’s inspiration for Resort 2011 is the French film, L’Amant:

There is a distinct nod to early Coco Chanel, the languid romantic feel of 1920’s French Indonesia, and thanks to Fetherston‘s foray into denim a modern girl edge to keep the look from getting too banal.
