Fashion Night Out New York- A Look Back

From fire eaters to blow outs… a photo journey

Fashion took to the streets Friday night in Fashion Night out, a celebration to kick-off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. And joined with it was everyone from Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Jersey crowding the streets of Soho and bouncing in and out of a multitude of open parties in stores and galleries.

DJ’s spun, projectors flashed edgy indie flickerings, champagne and vodka drinks were abound as well as hot celebrity showcases at some spots. Throw in a sexy fire dancer in sequins and a praying mantis on stilts, and that was Friday’s Fashion Night Out. — Alix Kivlin
