The ensemble consists of a blue metallic organza shift dress with an under armature that expresses geometric forms on the surface of the dress. Must admit that Lady Gaga looks rather chic in this geometric design by Irina Shaposhnikova from her  ‘Crystallographica’ collection at Royal Academy at Fine Art in Antwerp (see it here). Lady Gaga wore the dress on a photo shoot and cover for the French Madame Figaro magazine… there you go, some French chic styling input to tone her down and class her up.

The Lady Gaga dress is part of the Icons & Idols rock ‘n roll and sports auction at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills on view from  Thursday, December 1, 2011 through Sunday, December 4, 2011; auction details at post end.

It’s the first time a Lady Gaga dress has ever come to public auction, so Little Monsters better start saving up as the estimate on the dress is $10,000 – $20,000.

You can also bid on the prop gun used in Lady Gaga‟s music video for “Born This Way,” with an estimate of $6,000-$8,000, along with  Mick Jagger‘s stage fashions from the early 1980‟s European tour, Cyndi Lauper‘s “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” video worn dress, a Kurt Cobain stage worn lab coat from a Nirvana 1991 appearance, and  items from Cher, Bono, Paul McCartney and more.
