The First Lady of Style: Michelle Obama WOWS in (Jason) Wu Again for Inaugural Gown, and then some

Truth be told, red is my favorite color for everything except party affiliation. The First Lady broke tide in a STUNNING Jason Wu red halter gown for the Inaugural gown first dance, and maybe, just maybe, that can be a sign of getting us all together. Far from the more girly white Jason Wu frock from 2009, this red draped chiffon and velvet number was sexy in the most powerful and in control nuance that a grown woman should master. Add The First Lady's new bangs, and Mrs. Obama stunned in a fresh and vibrant way that made you not only proud to be an American looking forward but proud that a woman of substance is in a place which she belongs.

I received a pr head's up about the 1950's inspired yellow floral Tracy Reese dress that First Lady Michelle Obama wore at yesterday's White House Easter Egg Roll. It got me thinking about our family trips to Washington, D.C. and our time at the annual event on the Great Lawn of the White House. For our time at the White House Easter Egg Roll, Bill and Hill made their entrance from a balcony. Janet Reno read from a children's book. Festive fun and a patriotic sense of oneness ensued. Somewhere, we still have the banner from the event and some other souvenir mementos from that

Michelle Obama wears the matching coat & dress trend- hers is by Moschino

First Lady looks rather Camelot-ish in Moschino coat & matching dress Michelle Obama is very smart indeed when it comes to her fashion choices. On the anniversary of the Obama's first year in the White House and the day after the Republican gain for Teddy Kennedy's Senate seat, Mrs. Obama chose exactly the outfit to make the right statement: A matching coat and sheath dress. If I were the First Lady's fashion advisor, I couldn't come up with a better ensemble for today's photo op. If it was Mrs. Obama's choice, she continues to have marvelous fashion instincts. We most associate the First Lady wearing a dress with matching coat on Inauguration Day—that one was the yellow brocade by Isabel
