Gettting their gorgeous behind the scenes at the Westminster Dog Show.
You know how much I love poodles and dogs in general. It is New York Fashion Week (have you been following my trend spotlights?) and you would expect backstage beauty to involve models with hair and back-up how to’s, right?
Well, it will. But I want to take a break from clothes and show you some of the best coiffed at the 138th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Afterall, these fur babies spend as much time being tzjujed up as a celeb for the red carpet.
Hubs & I popped by earlier today to see the poodles (of course) and couldn’t resist some of the other gorgeous creatures getting their glam on in the benching area. You can watch live judging here. I have to say that it is always so adorable to see the poodles smiling in the ring when they do their tail wagging show strut…. they really love the attention.
For the first time since first time since 1884, mutts (aka All-American) compete in an Agility Championship. Which brings to mind that Mr. Poodle needs a date a the groomer to put a kibosh on his winter mountain man look. Luckily, we picked up a new bottle of his special black shampoo while we were at the dog show to tide him over through these freezing days… I hope.
