I’ll Have What She’s Having: I’ve been mesmerized by her style since Studio 54
Think of this as post kismet… or some odd coincidence of If You Could Read My Mind.
Just as Brad Boles and I were reminiscing about Disco Sally and Studio 54, this photo of the eternally gorgeous Bianca Jagger, dressed in a green caftan by Roberto Cavalli, turns up in my inbox!
Please Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood but as a Native New Yorker, 54 and Disco Nights were part of my coming of age.
Enough tired Studio 54 music puns, but it is hard for me to not make the association as seeing Bianca on the dance floor or lounging on a sofa are iconic style moments that will stay in my mind forever. I feel privileged to have had the fun of seeing them firsthand and to have never been carded to get into those clubs in the first place.
Fast forward to the present, and Bianca Jagger still knows how to make an entrance. Her emerald green Roberto Cavalli caftan magnificently plays hide and seek with her figure and the plunging neckline suits a woman who once made an entrance on a white horse escorted by a naked man. Well done.
