Cushnie Et Ochs Spring 2013 Runway Is All About Clean Chic

Cushnie Et Ochs Spring 2013 Runway Review: Very clean, chic, minimalism seen at Cushnie Et Ochs.  And a splash of Blade Runner-esque necklines and cut-outs, which certainly can’t go wrong on this uber modern Spring 2013 line.

There’s no fuss, no bulk, no added nonsense to this collection which is something to be appreciated these days when the fashion market is so saturated with designers who tend to one-up each other with how many studs or chains or sequins they can fit on a single garment.  In this case we are dealing with white, black, sea green and a touch of deep purple – that’s it.

An excellent, close fit goes a long way when dealing with such simplicity, and designers Carly and Michelle have that down to a beautiful perfection.

What I truly appreciate about a line like this is the ability to make a strong statement without any hassle; you can put on one of these dresses and all you have to worry about is a simple swipe of eyeliner and a killer pair of heels.  Done.  I mean, who doesn’t love that?!

Besides the clothing, the runway had a clean and sleek make-up and hair styling thanks to Moroccanoil which complimented the line perfectly.  And reminder that when going for a simple. minimalist look – you don’t need to pain yourself with your hair and make-up.
