Fashion Week Gossip- Oscar de Renta’s Global Revolution draws on the Silk Road, Tinsley Mortimer at Robert Verdi’s Luxe Laboratory and…

… The Genius Collection from Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig’s Marchesa was truly overflowing with drama as a sure bet for the Red Carpet!

Brad Boles is still terrorizing the town in fabulousness with his Blackberry…

I’m sure that I love Oscar de la Renta as much as Sarah Jessica Parker does!

He has drawn inspiration throughout the years from Morocco, India, and Paris in the 1920’s. The fall 2011 Oscar de la Renta collection is every bit as glamorous as his previous iconic collections. Between the embellished jackets of gold bullion and sequined gowns, my source the "Debutante It Girl," was front row at the show and kept me (and you) in the loop via her cryptic texts.

"This is the best collection of the season," which I must say is a big statement coming from my secret source. "I love the madras prints and reference to the Ottoman empire," she texted on.

Of course, I had to take notice as should you. Upon a closer look, I have to agree that we all must become Oscar enthusiasts. I was told, that the evening collection drew a breath or two! So bring out the ingénue in you ladies, the eveningwear hit it out of the park. Hat’s off to Mr. de la Renta!

Tinsley Mortiemer ever the lady was at Robert Verdi’s Luxe Laboratory yesterday where the two of us were able to steal a moment to catch up.

The sexy socialite was getting her hair and make-up done for the Marchesa show and after party.

The Victorian inspired Marchesa collection brimmed with lace and tulle, so detailed and beautiful from the modern unfinished hems to the mermaid fishtails working the runway… it truly was awe inspiring.

Tinsley darling, you dazzled in red! And, a special thanks for following us at FocusOnStyle. Love you!

Now for gossip…

Which truly unattractive designer would NOT take my calls before I was on The Real Housewives of New York City? Now, I can’t get rid of her! I guess we can call her a wannabe celebrity whore, which makes her even less pretty.

What gorgeous runway legend was on more than caffeine to get through a very long week of back-to-back shows! I’m not saying…

And how was your day? –Brad Boles
