Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2013 has a Bali vacation in mind

Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2013 Runway Review:  “I want to be on a Bali vacation!”. That is all I could think of during the Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2013 collection of breezy, gently hued, beautiful clothing.

It’s absolutely perfect for a chic island getaway, and if Bali isn’t on your upcoming agenda, its do-able for the office, but even more do-able for brunches, museum Sundays, and dusk outdoor concerts.

The ombré and faded prints were the highlight and I, you, we all need to get those printed pants that fade out toward the hem!  The conversational prints are so fitting for Spring and for the lightweight fabrics – hibiscus flowers, Latin inspired handkerchiefs, and flower clusters.

For the non-vacation dressing there are some great lightweight outerwear pieces and adorable shorts suits pared down with rocker tee’s.  The multi-level short shorts are perfect for Spring/Summer and could go casual or be dressed up.  All the dresses are loose and airy and again, so perfect for that beach getaway.

Buy a few pieces from this perfectly balanced modern and pretty collection and at least haul out to Long Island if Indonesia seems too far!  — Alix Kivlin
