Royal Wedding Fashion- Second Wedding Dress for Kate, Duchess of Cambridge

Another fabulous dress at the reception

First, we had the wedding dress that legends are made for the morning ceremony. Then for the reception, Kate chose a second Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress.

A clean and simple number without the frivolity or garishness of so many celebrity red carpet dresses is what stole the show.

The white satin strapless evening gown with a circle skirt and diamante detailing around the waist was worn with a fuzzy angora shrug.

ROYAL WEDDING RELATED:

Granted, this particular dress did not have an earth-shattering design, but the Princess did look absolutely stunning and striking in the implicity of its silhouette and how it flatters her figure and personality.

Let’s hope that this will send a lightening bolt to all the mademoiselles and madams who run around in too tight or too decorated dresses shorter than their heels are high that sometimes simple elegance is a dress that doesn’t wear you is the BEST way to get the right kind of attention.
