That’s because their return comes at a time when fashion is finally offering stately alternatives for real women who want a sophisticated look. And there’s almost nothing more age-appropriate than a woman who looks effortlessly put-together without trying too hard.

Just remember to keep in mind that while comfort is key, to not pair a pair of flared pants with anything too casual i.e hooded sweatshirts, t-shirts and anything even close to hippie related garb. Subtle, sleek and grown up is what you should be aiming for.
And with that we’ve compiled a few tips for women of all ages:
- 20’s & under- From denim to chino paired with bustiers and you name it, now’s your time to go wild as you can conveniently have your moment to be risk-taking and still make it work. Just remember to keep it elegant as you don’t want to look too juvenile in pants that will age you.
- 30’s- We suggest looking for fine, quality fabrications while looking for slightly wider styles and avoiding anything too casual. A wider hem will alter your silhouette and flatter your figure. Do keep in mind to avoid chiffon type fabrics as they can tend to look sloppy and steer clear of sweatshirt/jersey as they look a bit too basic and most of all- cheap!
- 40’s+- As you get older, look for flared pants that have a relaxed fit especially at the waist. Pants that are too tight or low waisted look tawdry on women of age.
