I’ll Have What She’s Having: Flare jeans that look chic and not mumsy like Sophia Vergara’s do
Sophia Vergara has been making a case for flare jeans over their skinny jeans sister as she’s been spotted working her HABITUAL Hayworth Flare jeans all over town lately.
I could probably guess it’s because THE curvy one knows that the POWER of flare jeans worn the right way can work wonders on your figure. Here’s how you can do some figure-balancing magic …
Flare legs will balance your figure and either create the illusion of a curvier frame or put a super-curvy figure in proportion by what you wear on top. A short jacket with some structure in the shoulder will balance your hips while a slinky T-shirt will create a long and undulating line. Think rocker chic.

If it’s long legs that you seek, flares are your best friend in creating the illusion of endless stems. While I’m NOT purporting the dizzying heights of Vergara’s heels, a healthy dose of height in the shoe department will crate the perfect illusion of a longer leg.
Be sure the hem breaks past the top of you your shoe.

In contrast, stay clear of low heels with flare jeans unless you have super long legs
A trouser style flare that isn’t as clingy in the rear will make your butt seem smaller. Be careful of side pockets that do just the opposite. Higher waist styles are great for long torsos.
Built in air conditioning! Yup, sort of. The bountiful leg is far cooler in warmer months than skinny jeans. Why not try a pair of white flares for that classic Jackie O look?
Give me a pair with flare…
