Ethan Imboden

In 2003, Ethan Imboden founded Jimmyjane on the belief that life is better with a sexy twist. Ethan had spent many years in strategic brand and product development with some of the world’s top design firms with a diverse range of clients including Motorola, Herman Miller, Ford, Dell, and Nike. With an electrical engineering degree from Johns Hopkins and a Masters in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute, Ethan turned a frisky cheek. After years of working on everything from eyewear and cell phones to footwear and furniture, I was very surprised to come across such a significant area of our lives that hadn’t yet received deep design attention. As I see it, if anything should be beautifully designed, it’s the products that are involved in our sexuality. I’m focusing my creativity here for three simple reasons: it’s fun, it’s extremely important for our health & happiness, and I like to push boundaries — including my own. Ethan writes a regular sex and intimacy column for The Huffington Post. Please visit the official jimmyjane site: Jimmyjane.com
