Runway Review: Frank Tell Fashion Show Fall 2010 NY Fashion Week. Set amongst a Dan Flavin inspired assortment of neon lights, Frank Tell’s recent presentation at Milk Studios was rife with a futuristic simplicity that was appropriately less urban warrior and definitively more wearable.
For Fall 2010, design duo Costello Tagliapietra– Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra– known for their immaculate takes on classic Grecian draping cited Japan and the early work of it’s most iconic designers, Yohji Yamamoto and Rei Kawakubo as influences, giving their Barney’s babes an assortment of polished looks that had a somewhat off-kilter, slightly relaxed and inventive zest that made for a strong outing.
