Girlie yet ultimately wicked, Miucci Prada’s latest offering was mesmerizing with it’s 60’s era takes on Japanese trademarks from origami folds of duchesse satin to the simplicity of a single daisy print.

Making a nod to Courreges and Marimeko in the mix, separates had a minimal vibe while spring furs were made playful with oversized flower-power prints. In fact, daisies even made there way on to the models eyewear, making for what should become next season’s most covetable sunglasses.

Adding to the erotica were hybrid shoes that were at times a simple latex or leather sock with a toe strap to a stacked wedge that was utterly out of this world.

Full on looks inspired by Sicily once again made for a vivid outing imbued with infectious prints, deluxe detailing and at times avant-garde takes on old-world Italian heritage.

Of the many looks, there wasn’t a dud on display. Wearable with an instant dose of ultra-chic glamour, the entire collection made for a promising vision of what to wear next season.

Our bets are on the printed pieces featuring frescoes of African faces that turned up on everything from a matching top & shorts set to chandelier earrings.

 Jil Sander-

Jil Sander’s back at Jil Sander! And just like at her men’s show this summer, her debut collection for women was a testament to reclaiming her precise vocabulary.

What made it all look so right was an eye for combining blocks of color for a simplistic take on the trend that was slightly forward thinking without the fuss.

Punctuating the looks were two-tone boots that you bet will be making our most wanted lists.

No. 21 Spring 2013

In just a few short seasons No. 21 has made its mark by creating cool clothes you simply cannot find anywhere else. Perfect for a night out on the town, gallery perusing and those times you want to get noticed for something unusual that is still sexy, Spring was yet another on the mark winner.

While at another label a heady mix of prints, brocade, animalier and embroidery could bear too much, here a restrained hand-made sure that each exits life will extend itself past the season.
