Royal Wedding Fashion, from Kate Middleton to Duchess of Cambridge in Elegant Sweep of a Gown Befitting of a Future Queen of England

Traditional, timeless, and terribly chic: A wedding gown that will withstand the test of time in its elegance.

There’s nary a soul on this side of the pond who didn’t wake up to the news of "Here comes the McQueen," as in Sarah Burton the designer for the Alexander McQueen label.

THE Royal Wedding dress that took Kate Middleton from commoner to Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was both timeless and elegant, and most important, right in line with what we have come to know as Kate Middleton’s polished style.

And, I love it!

Although, personally, from a glam factor, I would have added a bit tzuj in the upper bodice draping, like the Grace Kelly wedding gown that it bears a resemblance, but it’s cleanness is what best suits the modernity of what could be the future Queen of England.

More than a Royal Wedding, and the little girl’s fantasy of what she dreams to be when she grows up, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge represents a very modern woman who understands what looks best on her figure and what will withstand the test of time.

Without the fuss of Princess Diana’s dress, Kate Middleton’s wedding dress will share its iconic status in history without looking dated

Elegance runs in the family

Her sister and maid of honor Pippa Middleton wore a simple and elegant sheath with a dropped cowl neckline, also designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, that would be a stunning example as a wedding dress option for more down-to-earth wedding.

The little flower girls were the most darling in their full skirts and ruffly hemlines. Red Carpert actresses please, take note: This style of dress belongs on a toddler not a grown up!
