Most people think of hair extensions as a way to add length but there’s a whole other plus side to this modern hair wonder.
Just as I grew out some overprocessed highlights– and when my hair not only was back to its natural color but healthy again– I fell prey to one horrible haircut.
Let’s be fair to say that my finally shoulder length hair was suddenly hacked into something that could only be described as a soccer mom mullet!
If said baby fine soccer mom mullet wasn’t hideous enough, the proportion was so off that it was almost impossible to correct. The only possibility was to wait this monstrosity out. Which I did for a couple of anxious months until the top layer was long enough to work with.
Enter my salvation… RPZL Hair Extensions!
RPZL Hair Extensions bill itself as the first state of the hair extension and blowout bar. If you’re expecting to see a bunch of tacky reality TV type women with horse tails hanging around the salon, you are sadly mistaken.
As I sat getting my RPZL NEXT™ super light keratin bond 100% Virgin Remy Hair affixed, I was mesmerized by how many woman with what seemed to be otherwise “perfect” hair were having RPZL hair extensions.
Soon, I became one of them.
The keratin extension process is rather fast. Hair is matched for color, length, and texture. By combining two shades I was able to match my natural color and have enough dimension for a little extra oomph without needing highlights. The extensions were still very long for my taste (age, face, and body structure) so I had my new lengthy hair wrapped in a chignon and went off to my stylist for a trim.
The result was nothing less than French girl fullness in that perfect undone way!
I have to admit that as much as I loved my sudden volume I was little self-conscious at first, but no one ever guessed that I had extensions! I told you that these are crazy believable. Plus, who would think that that your easy lob was fake hair?!
For the three months that I had keratin extensions, my hair was able to grow out of its horrible cut and become super healthy from not having to style it every day. I came out in better condition than when I went in.

Once the keratin extensions shedded away I wanted to try the clip-ins.
