Aganovich, the small label to watch from Paris Fashion Week

Aganovich Fall 2012 Paris Fashion Week Notes from Paris... It's quite the scene here in the city of light this week as it's Paris Fashion Week for the Fall 2012 season. Fashion designers are madly racing to put the finishing touches on their collections, while fashion show attendees, groupies, fashion bloggers, buyers, and magazine editors are all scurrying breathlessly from one show to the next. Aganovich Fall 2012 I met Brooke Taylor and Nana Aganovich, the founders of the label Aganovich, a few years ago and covered their first show in 2010. I have been following them ever since I took a liking to their thoughtful approach to their collections. This season their show was presented in a cavernous former car repair garage on rue du Turenne

Subverted & tweaked plays on tailored workwear made for a sober yet challenging outing from the atelier of Maison Martin Margiela. Although See by Chloe has remained a quiet yet increasingly salable & lucrative secondary line to high-end French go-to label Chloe, it comes as somewhat of a welcome surprise to see the offshoot finally make it's runway debut after ten years in business.
