Trend Report: 6 Modern Pant Suits that are ageless & chic, so why not?!

I’ll Have What She’s They’re Having: The effortless chic of modern pant suits that can take you through every time of your life

Forget the frump! Modern pantsuits are more what they are NOT about, than what they are. As you can tell drool from our Paris street style ladies,  there’s a flattering style for every moment of your life. Why let the guys have it easy? It really is quite simple to discover your perfect uniform and put on your business chic like it’s nobody’s business.  Plus, who can deny the sex appeal of an elegant woman in a menswear staple? Let’s discuss….

Tuxedo babe- Let me count the ways as to how I LOVE THIS LOOK. A decidedly YSL influence from when the label was more than a last name. Crisp tuxedo jacket, the perfect foulard tie and voilà, you are quintessential French Chic in the best way. Note the straight leg cut of the pants and the cap toe booties with the most classic roundish toe. Jumbo pearl studs, red lips, and fabu sunnies complete the look. Oh, yeah, and a pixie cut. Perfect inspiration/aspiration.

Blue by you- Harken Paris in the 80s when you couldn’t escape this shade of electric blue.  Zip to today, and boy does it look right! There is something daring about wearing a matched suit in such a vibrant color, but when you can do it right… go for it! The loose fit pants paired with basics like black and white ground the color.

TIP: When you wear head to toe color, be sure it is the best quality that you can afford so that the fabric falls the right way and the seaming is, ummm, seamless.

In the red: A boxy vibrant red jacket and sweatpants cuffed pants… a potential recipe for disaster. BUT, not here! Expert tailoring and a flawless fit, plus the leg lengthening balance of suede platform sandals. Fantastic.

Swagger!  Add a snappy fedora perched just so, and (colored) jeans and a blazer look so chic. Of course the sharper shoulders of the jacket, estate necklace, and the Celine bag doesn’t hurt a bit. Did I say leopard pumps too?

Bold & Nude- Well, sorta nude as we gues that almost bare bodysuit is one of the ones from Maison Margiela or its H&M alter ego. What does matter is the way a very architectural black blazer is the perfect foil to crazy vivid red pants. The nude underpinning doesn’t distract from all that form and color. Did you notice the placement of the big Sonia Rykiel flower brooch? Adorable.

Moto Mama- This is probably the easiest look to pull off from what you already own. A snazzy moto jacket breaks up the almost all red volume pants, crisp shirt and sleek bag. Did you notice how white pumps work in this pairing? Oh, yeah it’s waaaay before that calendar rule.
