Wacky Fantasy Nail Art Has Its Own Olympics

Odd but True: Nailympics 2010, the global ‘Olympic Games of fake nails… in Britain, of course!

Gotta love these talons…

The British love bizarre contests but they’ve all scrathed the surface until this one that digs deep!

I’ve seem some crazy, freaky long nails in my time, mostly on my old bank teller. Come to think of it, on many bank tellers. They’re the kind of nails that curl to no end and create all sorts of strange hygienic visions that I’d rather skip.

However, every once in a while there are some ultra fantastc, super exotic works of nail art and now they have their own “Olympics” of sorts. The Nailympics 2010 at the Olympia Beauty Show in London has 354 competitors from 24 countries clawing for a best in show.

Is it a parade float? A fanatasy birthday cake? Nope, it's some tzjued out nail art!

These artsistic visions are for show, I hope, and not to engage in the normalcies of life, like being able to put on a pair of pantyhose or blow your nose without puncturing your face. These wacky fantasy nail art creations are still far less creepy than the “real life” women with the curling talons and wreck my nerves less than a woman over 40 with mint green nail polish! Glad that Brad Boles is in China today or he would be sounding off on this on, for sure!
