Make it yours: Leave it to Paris’s forward thinking designers to take something as mundane yet tried & true like a cold weather ready parka and turn it into something out of this world cool, and wholly covetable. There was an assortment of genius contrasting hybrid options that give the look of layering several pieces at once to ensure a safety net of warmth, but what really got people talking were Balenciaga’s off the shoulder versions. And though those beauties are constructed and boned to appear as nonchalant as they can be, there’s something to be gleamed from how they were styled. Wear yours now a tad bit off the shoulder for a relaxed silhouette that works with the transitional temps outside.

Make it yours: Ruffles and decorative embellishments are about as feminine as you can get outside of the boudoir and they made an appearance on every major runway for Fall.
