Ageless Beauty Week! My anti-wrinkle experiment [better than Botox]

Skincare can take a downturn during the lazy days of summer. This week’s Summer Spotlight are some of my favorite ageless beauty tips.

I’ve been getting a lot of comments about my skin lately. In a good way…

Truth be told, I’m lucky in the genes department, and have been using some kind of anti-aging/moisturizer since about 16, and avoid sun bathing. But the compliments and quizzing have most definitely escalated this fall.

Truth be told, I’ve been working crazy hours developing a new project (you’ll find out soon!) and haven’t had much time to even think about replenishing my face creams. So, I took to some review products that were sent over & have been using them without much thought or interruption.

You work hard, shortchange your sleep, and maybe don’t drink as much water as you normally would (bad, I know) and it shows. But this time, my under eye circles may be darker but I noticed that my little crows feet lines have pretty much vanished!

And, then the compliments. I actually had someone get self-righteous that I wasn’t coming clean on my Botox! Really?  I can’t say this is better than Botox as I never had Botox around my eyes… why should I?

It was overcast yesterday… the kind of light that a photographer would have to fill for someone to look attractive and to not exaggerate every facial line and imperfection. I looked in the car mirror, and voilà, my crinkles had practically absorbed!

Proof in the selfie above.

My anti-wrinkle exlixir? StriVectin-AR (NIA-114 + Retinol) and a haphazard application of StriVectin-TL Tightening Face Cream (5% NIA-114 + Protein Tighteners), with random squeezes of StriVectin-AR Advanced Retinol Eye Treatment (NIA-114 + Retinol).

I’m in love until my next experiment in ageless beauty or the tube runs out…
