Dear Sharon: I was hoping you could help me with a problem I have finding stylish big guy clothes that fit me correctly and need some stylist advice to find a flattering style. I am a large size man who hates shopping for clothes because nothing fits due to my unnatural body shape. I usually get an XXL which fits my shoulders, but it  is a little long and usually too tight around my midsection. However, an  XXXL is just too loose around my body. Do you have any advice or styles I could use to help alleviate my stress when it comes to shopping? Any advice or help would be much appreciated! The First Lady of Style: Michelle Obama WOWS in (Jason) Wu Again for Inaugural Gown, and then some

Truth be told, red is my favorite color for everything except party affiliation. The First Lady broke tide in a STUNNING Jason Wu red halter gown for the Inaugural gown first dance, and maybe, just maybe, that can be a sign of getting us all together. Far from the more girly white Jason Wu frock from 2009, this red draped chiffon and velvet number was sexy in the most powerful and in control nuance that a grown woman should master. Add The First Lady's new bangs, and Mrs. Obama stunned in a fresh and vibrant way that made you not only proud to be an American looking forward but proud that a woman of substance is in a place which she belongs.

Yup, there is nothing like a new hairstyle to refresh your style, like Michelle Obama's bangs and layered do.  It sets your look ahead of the curve and creates the image of a mindfulness for an understanding of progress, rather than settled into the past. Golden Globes Fashion- Red Carpet Best, Worst and why you should make sense of this

Monday morning quarterback time.  It's time to reflect what really stood out-- in both a good and eeech way-- from last night's Golden Globes fashion from the red carpet. If you followed my gut reaction Golden Globes Live Tweets, you have a pretty keen idea of my take on this.  I have a hard time ohhing and ahhing when a trussed up actor is schilling for a big designer and caught up in the "fabulousness" of it all without taking her personal attributes in consideration. If you don't wear something that is organic to your style, figure, type, or the TV cameras it shows, big time. >>MORE: Red Carpet Fashion & Beauty No matter how fantastic a dress may look on

Dear Sharon:  I am 20 years old and 5'1" with slim legs, hips, and stomach. However, I  have an inverted triangle body type with strong shoulders and a 34DD bust!  My boyfriend recently told me I have a beautiful body and I shouldn't use my clothes to hide it. 5 Trends to Trash or Switch to Update Your Look for 2013

Lose This, Redo That in 2013... Truth be told, I HATE telling anyone to ditch something trendy. Something that is such a quick fad should not be in a chic wardrobe to begin with. There IS a sophisticated difference from looking on trend and  being trendy... particularly, after 25ish. Trendy is a blip on the style meter that spoils faster than a gallon of milk and dates itself in one of those "what was I thinking" old photos. On trend is staying modern, looking fresh and never dated. >>RELATED: How to clean out your closet & the top 20 items to let go It is OK to add a few throwaway trendy pieces here and there just fun of it. Stylist Advice- Help, my heel is too small and I trip out of my shoes!

 Dear Sharon:  For the past three years, I trip out of my shoes. It started when I was on the my way to job interview when, all of a sudden, both my feet slipped out of my pumps! I had been wearing these pumps all year and now they didn't fit. It was a nightmare just to make it to the door of the interview as I couldn't take a "normal" step without losing a shoe. So embarrassing! From that day on, no strapless pumps fit me ever again. I have tried so many heel grips, heel pads and even innersoles at the same time, but nothing worked. I have squeezed into a size smaller shoe and although the shoe was super tight in the front,

What to Wear: From Now to Spring, try a retro flared skirt

Gucci- Graceful and feminine, our fluid caramel linen canvas flared skirt is natural luxe at its best. Pair with wedge sandals and a whisper-light satin tank for retro-tinged sophistication.
I love a look that's easy-breazy and flattering on almost every figure type. As my mom would say, this look has my name written on it. And, it should have your YOUR name on it too. A retro flared skirt-- like the Gucci flared skirt, pictured above-- that falls just below the knee to mid calf is back for spring and you can start interpteting the styling in either Resort now or with a winter's edge. It's the kind of silhouette that works well with chunky platforms or flat thong sandals in warmer climates and platform ankle boots in colder climates. … all comfy shoes, I may add. >>MORE: What to Wear Wear it with a thin camisole top like above, or

Nagore Aramburu with daughter Ane in Madrid;
I totally get where this reader is coming from as I remember this dressing predicament from when my son was little. What's a stay-at-home mom to wear can be frustrating, if not a bit sticky.
