Wanna gloat about being dressed in Vera Wang but you won’t have the exorbitant credit card bill to deal with- check this out!

Last night’s wedding expo of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries is not quite put to rest. The over-the-top pr and placement shenanigans of every last detail from the three Vera Wang gowns that Kim donned for the big night (Kate Middleton merely wore two dresses for her Royal Wedding) to the exclusive photos of the wedding sold to People magazine for $1.5 million are just one of the couple’s “fairytale wedding” deals, details The Hollywood Insider. Not to mention, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding:A Kardashian Event, two-part E! TV special.

The news outlet also reports that, “These high-priced deals, coupled with freebies bartered in exchange for promotion, make Kardashian one of the rare brides who will actually bring in more for her wedding than she paid for it.”

The New York Post is adding it up to be closer to an $18 million dollar profit from the nuptials, and cites that “She got three $20,000 Vera Wang gowns — one for the ceremony and two for later in the evening — all free.”

And there’s the rest of the bride-to-be’s who don’t score deals for getting married but truly want a gorgeous wedding gown designed by Vera Wang. Don’t worry, there’s an affordable Vera Wang bridal collection and Alix Kivlin reports with fantastic wedding dress photos too. — S.H.

After a successful Spring 2011 debut collection of White by Vera Wang, a bridal collection sold exclusively at David’s Bridal, Vera Wang follows up with a Fall 2011 collection of bridal dresses along with with added bridesmaid dresses and shoes.

The bridal line is elegant and tight, with only seven bridal dresses, but there is something to suit every woman’s needs on her special wedding day and priced at $600-$1200 it’s easy on the wallet. And elegance paired with a low cost brings a sigh of relief for every bride!

Each gown is unique in design and for a big name like David’s Bridal, these styles really up the mentality of mass market wedding dresses. There is the quintessential ball gown with layers of tulle perfect for the princess bride.

For the modern bride there is the elegant column dress with a clean, pleated skirt and ruffle detail. And the price does not mean there is scrimping in the details – fern embroidery, lace overlays, top applied petals for texture and manipulated netting creates the look of oversize roses for a skirt. Small details and accessories add uniqueness to each style in the form of beaded belts, flower laden sashes, pearl headbands and long veils. There is an oversize bow belt that is a bit overpowering, but fortunately all the accessories can be mixed, matched or removed entirely!

The addition of the bridesmaid dresses this season rounds out the collection and now you can have bridesmaids looking as sleek as the bride. Rather than in the classically feared bridesmaid dresses, these are styles that are modern yet sexy and can be worn again for cocktail parties! Dresses are in a cool palette of amethyst, blush, moss, charcoal and navy – again very wearable for more than just your friend’s big day. Prices are economical, $150-$200. Another sigh of relief! Whether you want full length or mini, strapless or sleeves, the line has you covered. My favorite being a strapless dress with asymmetrical pleating on the bodice and a cinched waist has me thinking of a million reasons to keep wearing it.

The new shoe collection features a few styles, all being a bit more edgy than classic and suit to the braidesmaid dresses more than the bridal gowns. A pair of fully rhinestone platform stilettos conjures images of club dancing… but who’s to say your reception won’t end up this way?!

For stunning dresses, and extremely excellent pricing, think about paying a visit to David’s Bridal for the White by Vera Wang line when you are shopping for your big day.
