Pantone announced its color of the year and for 2016, it's all about Rose Quartz and Serenity. The colors are all about calm and mindfulness as opposed to the richer Marsala, last year's color of the year. So, pack up your brights, the trend colors are all about muted pales for next year! Here's's what to do: Apply lipstick, blot with a single sheet of tissue, lightly set with face powder. Add a second layer of lipstick or gloss and lightly either blot again OR put your index finger in your mouth and pull out so that your finger "grabs" the extra lipstick. Nothing says transition more than a pair of wide leg crop pants, gauchos, culottes or whatever name suits your fancy. The nuances of each are not as dramatic as the style power of the old school length that is new again.
