Anna Sui Spring 2013 Playful, Solid Collection With De Rigueur Rocker Edge

Anna Sui Spring 2013 Runway Review:  The most darling, goth girls rocked down the runway to a Ramones soundtrack at Anna Sui's Spring 2013 show, reminding us that rock n' roll will never die and it can indeed be pretty.  Very pretty. Sui remains consistent with her edginess by showcasing ripped stockings, metal studs, leather, and chain collars; and the sweetness comes in a slightly Victorian dollhouse way with pale pinks, intricate laces, poofy dresses, and jade pendants.  Then let's throw in a splash of 'Where The Wild Things Are' - those adorable monster ear, bejeweled hats - and we have a wild collection! >> MORE: FASHION SHOWS AND RUNWAY REVIEWS Unless you are seventeen and living in the Lower East Side, I wouldn't recommend wearing

Reem Acra Spring 2013- Striking. Stunning. Sexy. Period.

Reem Acra  Spring 2013 Runway Review: Reem Acra showcases a stunning Spring 2013 collection of body conscious, evening wear that is nothing short of drop dead sexy.  All women should aspire this Spring to be escorted someplace with a need to wear one of these gowns; it will create a paparazzi following and have you feeling like a sexy Bond girl. A solid half of the collection had me lusting for pieces for upcoming Holiday season rather than airy Spring 2013; but the other half of buttery neutrals and pale, glittering sequins is perfect for Spring.  And I'm certainly not complaining, I would be thrilled to wear any of these dresses ANY time of the year, to be perfectly honest! >>

Vera Wang Spring 2013 Brims With Fall Hues and Lush Fabrics For a Seasonal Spin

Vera Wang Spring 2013
Vera Wang Spring 2013 Vera Wang Spring 2013 Runway Review: A rather opulent Spring 2013 collection was seen today at Vera Wang and it rang with rich notes of Autumn. Yet, it translated into fitted, short Spring silhouettes which made it very new and awesome. When would you think to wear jewel tone brocades, heavy gold beading, and thick lace?  Not necessarily Spring! >> MORE: FASHION SHOWS AND RUNWAY REVIEWS But the Bermuda shorts, snug and sleeveless peplum shells, short, closely fit sheath dresses, and sleeveless jackets all give the luxurious fabrics and colors a warm-weather shape to fit into. DL1961 Denim Spring 2013

DL1961 Denim Spring 2013 Runway Review: The DL1961 Denim To Make Your Next Cult We all have our denim brands we are devoted to and follow like it's their last world tour, which I commend and adhere to myself (I am devoted to AG, Rag & Bone, and Lucky Brand - period), but I dare I say, there is a new (fairly new) denim cult to follow, and it's DL1961.  It's as simple as this: it's all in the fit.  For those curve-a-licious girls in particular, this is THE brand for you.  On that note, I would say for those without any hips and an ass, this may not be your spiritual denim calling. >> MORE: FASHION SHOWS AND RUNWAY REVIEWS  DL1961 more or

Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring 2013
Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring 2013 Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring 2013 Runway Review: The Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring 2013 line is a mix of structure and draped slouch, with a very modern edge, and dark, some seemingly Autumnal colors - with a final splash of bright white. Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring 2013 Cornejo keeps up the scuba-meets-day-wear trend, and showcases asymmetrical, slouchy dresses in bold graffiti-esque prints. >> MORE: FASHION SHOWS AND RUNWAY REVIEWS I am particularly in love with the scuba material and curved structure it adds to the line with the variety of jackets and dresses; very particularly the zip front tube dress - incredibly sexy. Chado Ralph Rucci Spring 2013
Chado Ralph Rucci Spring 2013 Chado Ralph Rucci Runway Review: Ralph Rucci of Chado once again made a case for himself being the country's most important other Ralph in the fashion game Never one to follow the mandate for trends, one of America's closest allies with the world of Haute Couture, Rucci centered his signature sculptural silhouettes around riotous shouts of unabashed color. >> MORE: FASHION SHOWS AND RUNWAY REVIEWS From ultra-deluxe fabric choices to meticulously crafted and conceived silhouettes, proportions and patterns, the maestro's Midas touch was in full effect.
