Christopher Kane channeled feminine glamour fro Spring 2013

Christopher Kane’s Spring show in London showed us how stunning a simple bow blouse and separates in sheer fabrications and subversively feminine silhouettes can be. And thanks to clever styling with a minimal mantra, each overall look was far from sweet and more likely ready to combat the streets if anything. For most of us, sheer is hard. Wear a flimy top under one of the new sleeveless jackets to get the look without venturing into TMI-ville.

Dries Van Noten went grunge for Spring 2013
Dries Van Noten went grunge for Spring 2013

Dries Van Noten revisited Grunge with a nuanced vision that was graphic, yet ultra-femme and full of contradictions -just what we love about Dries. Take note as plays on plaids in lush, gauzy fabrications are sure to be a mainstay for seasons to come. Grunge, always comes with the disclaimer that you if Kurt Cobain was on your college or after playlist, you may want to pick just ONE grungey element rather than going deep into the abyss of angst.
