Runway Review: The "Raw Romance" Donna Karan collection, soft yet strong perfection. Most hair stylists will tell you that at a certain age we look better with softer edges and a lighter color. Well, Donna Karan is celebrating her 25th Anniversary in fashion this year and she has all but softened and lightened the look for Spring 2011. >> SEE DONNA KARAN FASHION SHOW PHOTOS- COMPLETE SPRING COLLECTION Once the almost shock of the all sand color palette passed, it was clear that the hallmarks of an urban wardrobe were still present, but this time the city looks were meant to travel to a more relaxed place and time. Silvio Liu Spring 2011 NYFW Collection brims with sweet and feminine party dresses

Runway Review: Definitely a designer to watch emerge, as it's the first collection and with experience the collections will grow and develop. This tiny capsule of dresses with bursts of coral and watercolor florals is the first women's collection for Silvio Liu, showcased here at Merecedes-Benz Fashion Week. The spring cocktail dresses were chic silhouettes on their own, the light palette was refreshing, but I saw a few key details that didn't sit with the collection. Silvio Liu- Spring 2011 Collection >> Fashion Shows and Runway Reviews The fit and tailoring was perfect and created a flattering feminine look on all the dresses, but I wasn't too keen on the cropped boxy jackets that covered a few of them. Waists

Charlotte Ronson Fashion Show- Grunge for Girls on the Spring Runway

Runway Review: Grunge got girly and there are plenty of sweet florals under the slouchy hoodies and washed out plaid shirts Be prepared to pull out your beat up high school hoodie next Spring. Charlotte Ronson is taking things back to the casual, borderline grungy, utilitarian 1990's dress code with her most recent collection shown at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.e Charlotte Ronson- Spring 2011 Fashion Show This time around the grunge got girly and there are plenty of sweet florals under the slouchy hoodies and washed out plaid shirts. A fine bit of feminism and flower child compliments the super casual look. And for having so many oversize garments there was still a lot of skin showing! Charlotte Ronson- Spring

NYFW Kvetch-A-Thon... Ok we need to talk! I want Bryant Park back! Here, she catches up with her old friend Daniel Vosovic backstage at his Spring / Summer fashion show. -- S.H. Confession: Daniel Vosovic is an old, dear friend of mine. Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week- Backstage at Franck Sorbier

With all the pomp and circumstance of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, we can all use some artistic whimsy Real couture, not of the juicy variety, is all about the mastery, the fabulousness, the uniqueness of its garments that are worn by a select few hundred women across the world who can afford the luxury. Holly Fulton has architectural inspiration at London Fashion Week for her fall 2010 collection

Runway Review: Fulton's designs referenced famous world-skyscrapers including New York's Empire State Building, which reconfirmed her fascination with art-deco In an intimate show at London Fashion Week, Royal College of Art graduate, Holly Fulton, presented her optimistic, striking Fall 2010 collection.
