Not gonna lie, really not in the mood to put on my false eyelashes again for today’s shoot.

The Hubbs walked in last night after a long video day and told me that I looked like Louis C.K. batting his eyelashes on SNL!

Honest, demi wispies look great on video (you need to amp up your makeup on camera)…. but clearly, I am not a super made up type.

Gotta love a dude with a dry sense of humor.

Actually, the internet craze of online business coachers and marketers who wear extra, extra long diva hair extensions past their waist and black caterpillar eyelashes everyday kinda scares me.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m crazy for beauty but you gotta look real in my book, especially if you are the face of your brand.  Yes, you should have an elevated visual message but not look like you were side-swiped by the makeup van either.

Maybe it’s a New York thing but fantasy hair and makeup during the day is kinda tacky to me. To each her own. What do you think?

Will try light makeup for today’s shoot… hopefully I can avoid  scaring the children, lol. #happymedium
